Just came back from Perth on 19 Jun morning. This trip back was the first time I travelled alone with the two kids, things were quite ok during the flight
with juz a little hiccups from YZ. We were kinda lucky as the ground staff from both airports were very friendly and helpful. Look at ZM enjoying the flight while YZ dozing off to la-la land....





Touched down on Father's Day so the whole family except BigBro went for a mini celebration at Feast@East at Grand Mercure Roxy for a brunch buffet. The food served was Nonya style and ZM and I love the durain dessert most...Heehee

ZM progress update:-
- 26 weeks : Able to seat up straight
- 28 weeks : Starting to squart
- 29 weeks : Able to stand up by holding on to the bed rail

$2 Fishing

Saturday mornings have always been 'marketing mornings' for us in Perth. Things were the same on last Saturday's (11 June) marketing trip....except that YZ got glued on to the fishing game stall at Subi Farmers Market--she kept running away from us to go back to the fishing game stall *faint...no bribes would get her away and follow us. In the end, we 'raise white flag' and gave her A$2 to have a game....see how much she enjoy herself *wink ;)

Margaret River

Last weekend was a long one due to Monday, 6 June being Foundation Day in Perth. Hubby and I decided to bring the kids to Margaret River for a day on Sunday. We planned to visit quite a few places but in the end only went for 1 planned (Margaret River Chocolate Company) and 2 unplanned places (Country Life Farm and Busselton Jetty). The kids were surprisingly 'alright' during the car trip which took about 3 hours with only small hiccups now and then. Though we did not go to all the places we wanted to go, I am glad that YZ enjoyed herself, esp during the farm visit where she fed carrots to animals =)

YueZuan's & ZaiMei's Updates

Long time no update about YueZuan's and ZaiMei's developments....


YueZuan had been progressing quite well - able to sing songs taught to her only a few times, mimic whatever we say or do, play wrestling with ZaiMei, listens only to praises and blocks out an scoldings or harsh words *haahaa =D, go to school willingly, learn to match alphabets to pictures, recite 'San Zi Jing'....seems to be most of it....*too long no update so cannot remember all ;p

As for ZaiMei, she had her first photo shoot at 4 weeks plus....her first plane ride at 10 weeks plus....her first turn at 12 weeks plus....her first fall off the bed at 13 weeks....her first crawl at 17 weeks....her first solid food and seating on her own at 20 weeks....her first pumpkin porridge at 26 weeks....*that's the most I can recall for now :)


Something to share about ZaiMei:
After I fed her breakfast this morning, I left her in her play yard to play while I have my breakfast. After sometime playing on the mat, she when to one corner and sat down. Awhile later, she started making noise. As first I thought she was just seeking attention but after abt 5 minutes, I went nearer to check on her. Then, I found out she had actually vomited some milk on her clothings and the mat, and she was actually calling me to go and clean her up. After I cleaned her, she went around the play yard playing again....so cute ^-^

January ~ May 2011

Helloooo....Its been 5 mths since I last updated this blog *heehee =P Its not that I did not want to update but just that I did not have the spare energy to do it since the new addition to our family =) Well, a lot of things happened and I'll just summerize them month by month.....

January - Baby ZaiMei's Full Month celebration was held on 1 Jan 11 at my il's place in Hillview. A belated "Big Thank You" to everyone for the gifts and red packets received.

March - Nothing much....just returned to Singapore....put YueZuan back to childcare and bring ZaiMei - our youngest 'employee' to work again *heehee =D

April - Work and more work....and missing Hubby even more =(

May - Singapore General Elections fell on the same day as YueZuan's 2nd B'day!! Celebrated her b'day one day in advance in her school with her friends and classmates...

Flew to Perth again....but this time its with my Family - My parents, second bro n family, and second sil's mum....its was just a short trip of 3 days but everyone enjoyed =)Hope they can come over again soon....n oso stay for a longer period ;)
