Buffet @ Zaffron

Hubby got some vouchers from UOB and one of it was a free buffet with a paying adult. Since the kids love having buffets, we decided to try out the new restaurant on Boxing day. Look at how YZ & ZM enjoy their turkey mid-wings....

Birthday & Xmas Celebration

Its 25 December!! -- which means its Xmas & Hb's birthday!! This year we decided to celebrate both occasions at our place at Duxton. We got out our small little Xmas tree from Melbourne and prep some pressies for the kids.

New Hair Cut

The long hair that the girls been keep has been driving us crazy during shower time - they either refuse to wash their hair or after washing, refuse to blow dry them. Hence, though they look cute with long hair I decided to cut them short for now. Check out their new look...chic ;)

Trip to Sentosa 7 Dec 2012

Its the holidays and the kids did not have to go to school. Hubby decided to bring them to the new marine life park at Sentosa. We bought the cable car tix for family and got on to ride the 'Angry Bird' cable car. Sadly, the marine life park was closed for private event when we arrived there around noon. The kids were disappointed but we managed to cheer them up with KFC for lunch. Soon it was nap time after a short running around the Santa's sleigh after lunch. After nap, we walked round a little longer then headed home as it was getting late. The kids were sad but happy.

ZM's B'day

We did not make any big plans for ZM's b'day this year. we only bought the kids for a photo shoot at Baby U studio. After that, we head out to Changi City Point for a walk. YZ and ZM got to ride the kiddy train there.

Ri Zuan's Full Month Celebration

Time sure flies. Its already a month since Ri Zuan was born. We celebrated her full month on 25 November 2012.

Ri Zuan would like to thank everyone for the gifts and ang paos, but most of all, for taking time to come to her party.

It the time of the year again where parents are to meet up with the educators to find out about the kids' progress in school.

Fairy Tales / Cartoons Day

It so happens to be Fairytale Day on 28 November so the kids got to dress up in their favourite fairytale characters. YZ chose Cinderalla and ZM got Angel as she did not have any fav. characters then.

ZM's 2 Year Old Birthday Celebration

ZM turned 2 in December 2012. We celebrated her birthday on 28 November 2012 in school as the childcare centre was closed for curriculum enhancement 2013. ZM was very shy and nervous when she was seated in front of the school for her celebration. She only managed a short smile when she saw her sis YZ. Anyway, she enjoyed eating her cake.

To ZM, wish you grow up smart and healthy. You are a clever and independent gal, but please control your temper and you will be well-liked by lotsa ppl. We love you.

Our New Member

We welcomed our latest member, Yuen Ri Zuan (aka RZ) into our family on 27 Oct 2012. She was a chubby baby who looks exactly like YZ (check out the photos....guess who is who....)

Our two older gals were every excited over their little sister, esp. YZ who was so eager to carry her when she visited us.

Car Wash

We decided to start washing the car ourselves now that the car wash service has doubled up its charges at my office car park. We got our little gals to do the washing too. They were just so happy that they can 'officially' play with water and dirty themselves...haahaa =D

Breakfast @ TCC

It was Saturday, 28 July....Hubby and I decided to bring the gals out to TCC for breakfast coz I got a 50% discount card from them for my birthday month and had not utilised it yet. We brought them to the Raffles Xchange branch as they open quite early on Saturday morning. The gals were enjoying the 'freedom' they got as we were the only few customers there at that time. They were practically making themselves very much at home. *sigh....

Racial Harmony Day @ 20 July 2012

It was Racial Harmony Day on 20 July 2012 but was so busy and tired with house renovation and pregnancy that I did not have the time or energy to update the blog on time. Anyway, heres the update now.... This year the gals get to dress up as Nonyas for the first time. It took hubby and me quite some time to find their costumes though - went round JooChiat and Chinatown to get. It was quite worthwhile the effort when you see the two of them looking so cute in them =)

Meet-the-Parents

Its the time of the year again for parents to meet teachers to talk about Yuezuan's performace and progress in school. YZ's progress and performance were quite satisfactory, especially since she was away from school for quite some time during the first 6 months of this year. Below are the comments by her teachers:

ZaiMei's First Day @ Childcare

Zaimei started childcare on 19 June 2012. Her first day at school was quite peaceful, with only a few occasional crying. She was able to eat and sleep well as her sister, Yuezuan kept her company for the day. She seems to enjoy herself as she did not want to let go of the toy she was playing when I went to fetch her. =D

Melbourne Trip 2012

Hurray!! Finally we get to visit Melbourne again! Hubby will be transferring back to Singapore to work from July this year so we decided to take a week break (9 June to 14 June) in Melbourne before we all come back for loooooonnnnggg. We planned our trip in a very rest n relax mode with only 1 destination per day.... Day 1 - Arrived in Melb @ 0600 - Kids knocked out from exhaustion (coz they din sleep much on the plane) - Hubby went to Vic Mart to get us breakfast - Bratwurst, Borak, Chicken ribs =P - Went to develop 1500 kids photos - Went 'Yum Cha' with Marie Ee and Alina cousin @ Golden Dragon Palace - Ended the day with dinner at a Vietnamese cum Chinese restaurant Day 2 - Went up to Lake Mountain Resort for the day - Ended the day with buffet dinner at Ing Doi Thai @ East Melb Day 3 - Rest and relax with trip to city & Crown entertainment - Ended the day with buffet dinner at Kitchen Workshop @ Crown Day 4 - Brought the kids to Puffing Billy Railway for a steam train ride - Had lunch at Sofia - Went home for a nice afternoon nap - Ended the day with dinner at Indian Tukka @ East Melb Day 5 - Had breakfast at home (leftover food from yesterday lunch) - Went to collect photos - Went Richmond for a mini shopping spree - Met Marie Ee in Box Hill for lunch - Went to Chadstone Shopping Centre to get sunnies - Ended the day with buffet dinner at Ing Doi Thai @ East Melb Day 6 - Had breakfast at Vic Mart - Went back to check out and pick up luggages - Went shopping at Harbour Town Melbourne @ Docklands - Had early dinner at Villa Romana @ Carlton - Home Sweet Home @ Melbourne Airport
