Yuezuan's December 2010

This December has quite a few 'first' experience for Yuezuan....

1st December - Becoming to Big Sister to her first sibling, Zaimei

10th December - Having fun @ Playgound (actually, her first experience at the playground was in Childcare in Nov 10....but teacher wrote that she only observed other kids play and walked round the playground with the teacher instead of playing....those feedbacks made me sad and guilty as I was always busy with work and had never really brought her out to play even if I had the thought and plan in mind...sigh - shows that time is never enough when there are kids around....anyway this day is her special one as hubby was free so made him brought her down to the playground in the estate to play as I'm still having my confinement =(

18th December - Her first drawing board...a Xmas present from hubby and me =D (suppose to wait till Xmas lah....but then...cant wait lor...so see the little artise at work....heehee)

YYZ's Little Sister

Our new bundle of joy arrived on 01 December 2010 in the wee hours. She is average in size and weight and looks so alike with her big sister, YZ.

YZ seems very happy to see her little sister. We are happy and proud of her. She hugged and kissed her little sister without much pushing from us. She almost cried and didn't want her sister to go back to the hospital nursery for the night.

We will be celebrating our new gal's full month on 1 January 2011 at a location to be updated later....

October/November 2010

Bzi as always....but there's always joy with YZ around =)YZ has learnt to feed herself juz these days - so hapi dats its before she starts childcare, else worried she might not eat enuf...heehee =P



YZ started her 'formal education' on 8 Nov 2010 at Enfant Educare near my office. She was very excited at first--always saying that she wants to go school....but when the actual schooling starts, it was all in the opps....which is normal for her as she had always been with me most of the time so not having me around is kinda hard for her.



Its been almost 3 weeks now since she started schooling, and she seems to have progressed quite welll - only cries when I send and fetch her from school *way to go YZ, mama very proud of you =) YZ's teachers said that she's been having quite good appetide at school (dat's b'coz YZ loves to eat...haahaa) and she knows how to blow her nose already....yeah =D

In another few more days, we will be welcoming our second bundle of joy - YZ's baby sister =D I have been wondering who she will take after as YZ only had my eyes and the rest are hubby's....hmmm....anyway will only know when we see her next wed....heehee

Today is my cousin's b'day, so we went over to her place her dinner....YZ met her cousins there and had fun playing balloons with them....towards the end of the celebration, we have a few conversations with her:

妈妈：爸爸在那里？
月钻：澳洲。

妈妈：知不知道？
月钻：不知道。

姑婆：月钻，你现在是小美女，那你长大以后是大美女咯！
月钻：*把头胎高高（意思：对咯。）

August/September 2010

August and September had been 2 very busy months for me and YZ....juggling more jobs than I can handle alone.....eg. commuting between office, the newly setup MamaBean stall at Golden Mile Food Ctr, and my family....*ever wonder where did I ever get all those strength to do all those work all at the same time and yet have some energy left for my dear YZ....sigh....guess life is never as peaceful as I wish it would (else its gonna get boring after some time...heehee - contradicting myself again....)

Anyway, things are starting to get slightly better as time goes by....and one thing for sure thats good is when hubby came back for a short visit....acutally the reason he was back was that his bro was getting married end of Sep....but anyway its always good to have hubby around no matter what =) I was still a little worried about YZ's reaction towards hubby at first as YZ had not seen him for the past 2 months but things turn out well so guess I juz worried too much....heehee =P Having hubby around relief me from my stress alittle and seeing how YZ attach with him always puts a smile to my face =) Just hope we can get to spend more time together after the birth of our second child (*keep fingers crossed)

YZ has progessed quite abit in these 2 months....she has learned to speak more properly now and is able to express herself more clearly too *three claps for YZ =) She is able to say 公公，婆婆， 爷爷，奶奶，哥哥，姐姐，弟弟，妹妹. Her longest phase now is 不知道....haahaa =D Sometimes she really make me wonder if she really knows what she is saying....anyway its always a joy listening to her speak =)

My second child is more active as compared to YZ....always moving about no matter how I position myself....sigh....makes me rather uncomfortable esp. when I am seated =( But anyway her movements were acutally good as it tells me that she is fine inside....Now my only worry is how YZ is going to react when her little sister is born in a few months time....I will be sending YZ to childcare in Nov when she gets 18 mths old....thats about a month before her sis is born....hopefully the new environment will teach her to be more independent and receptive to her sister....

June/July 2010

June 2010 was a short but relaxing month as YZ and me were back in Melb to spend time with papa/hubby =) YZ seems to enjoy herself more during this trip back as she wld alwaz look forward to evenings and weekends where she gets to spend more time with her papa. Though I was alwaz feeling tired from doing both hsework n office work, its still a joy seeing n spending time with hubby and baby. The feeling is juz so different with hubby around =)

July 2010 was a bzi mth....my aunt came for a visit in Melb abt a week before we came back Sing. We had great fun travelling around since our last tour of Melb was in Oct last year when my in-laws came for a visit. YZ seemed to have enjoyed herself alot during the outings though she was asleep during most of the drives. (p/s: we finally got the chance to ride the Puffing Billy train ^_^ ) Anyway, I got bzi once we arrived back in Sing - I do work and YZ 'create work' heehee =P YZ wld alwaz look for new things to play n do in the office, keeping everyone on their toes whenever she is not napping....haahaa =D Whenvever she hears the copier machine getting warm up to print documents, she wld get excited and run to the copier to wait for the doc to print and take the doc to whoever prints it....so cute ;)

YZ also got her left upper incisor erupted in the beginning of July and her left upper and lower molars somewhere in the middle of July....thats when she developed fever and caught a slight cold which took her about 2 weeks to recover =( Nonetheless, all is well now and she's been enjoying her teeth brushing sessions =D

I also went for my 20 weeks scan somewhere during the 3rd week of July....n guess wat--i'm expecting a gal again....yippy =) (p/s: sorry to disappoint hubby =S ) But anyway, can try again next time lah ;) This preg has so far been quite different from my prev....which is actually on the better side (hope it last...heehee) YZ seems to be quite acceptable to having a younger sibling....

YueZuan 一岁了!

Time really flies....YZ is already 1 year old! Over the past year, YZ had been a joy to be with everyday....though she does get on my nerves sometimes (*shake head) We had a mini celebration a week b4 her actual b'day at Whole Earth Vege Restaurant (p/s: food is good....but pricing oso 'very good'....haahaa) YZ would like to thank everyone for the presents and well-wishes. =D

YZ 长牙齿了！

YZ got her 1st tooth when she was about 8 mths old - bottom right front tooth....then about 3 wks later she got her 2nd tooth - bottom left front tooth....When she was about 9 1/2 mths old, she got her 3nd tooth - top right front tooth....then another wk or so later she got her 4th tooth - top left front tooth....so now she got 4 teeth altogether....

Finally all is settled at our new place....spent about 3 days shifting and unpacking all the things upstairs (p/s: shifting hse is nvr fun if u gotta do all the work)

We found a new place to rent on the 5th floor of the same building, and the apartment is exactly the same layout as the old one. We were lucky to get it in time to shift before our lease expires as the landlord sold the place and we got 60days to vacate.

The old place was on the 2nd floor with no view....the new one got quite a nice view...

We brought Yuezuan to take a ride at the Singapore Flyer together with my parents and eldest bro's family since they have not tried the big ferries wheel before....

Look at how Tingyan and Yuezuan enjoyed themselves....esp after dinner outside the restaurant where they play hide n seek =D
