Yuezuan's Attempt to Stand

Yuezuan's been attempting to stand on her own in her travel cot....but as the bed did not have any rails....all she can do is juz scratch the nettings....so we went to buy her a playpen last week....and today she surprised us by standing on her own while watching Pooh cartoon....haahaa =D

Xmas @ Boronia

This year the Xmas celebration is at Marie Ee's place....We had a big feast with all the food prepared (see the photos *yummy!) Same as last year, we celebrated hubby's b'day too....and Yuezuan had her 1st Xmas feast....but this year she only get to see us eat....will let her join in next yr....heehee....

YueZuan's 1st Potty Training

Today we went to BigW and bought a potty for Yuezuan (*abit 'kiasu' hor....heehee) Since she been quite consistent with her poo poo timing so we thought we might juz let her try using the potty lor....And so today she did her first big poo poo biz in her new potty....3 claps for YZ =)

Almost 4got....Yuezuan did her poo poo with the help of 外婆的大便歌：大便，大便，一天一次，不可以随便爬起来。

Its been two weeks since Yuezuan started sitting by herself with some aid of cse....she gets steadier as days goes by....and now she has finally mastered the skills to sit up on her own....(3 claps for YZ....heehee)

Suzuki Nite Market

The once a year summer nite market is back!!! Starting from 25/11, its on every Wednesday till Fed 2010....
We went to the market last nite for dinner (heehee....at last, no need to cook)....most of the stalls are the same as before with only 2 or 3 changes....hack anyway....we got to taste the food we been looking forward to *yum yum =P

BBQ @ Roger Court, Rowville

Yesterday we went over to hb's boss hse at Rowville for lunch....its was his dept's yr-end celebration....Met hb's boss, Graham and colleagues for the first time....everyone enjoyed the food prepared by Graham (ps: a very gd chef....food was yummylishes....looking forward to the next one =P ) anyway....all was merry until the two babies, Zoey and YZ at the function started a conversation between themselves (dat was the most enjoyable moment....haahaa....)

Swim @ City Bath

The pool at our apartment was not that usable these days (got manifested with lotsa insects) so we decided to change our swimming venue for YZ.....off we went to City Bath (after much research).....the pool is indoor - meaning its insects-free....yeah ;) At first YZ was a little scared but after a little warm up....she is off on her own....relaxing in her float....

YZ's 5th mth was a bzi and eventful one....shift to Melbourne....go sightseeing with grandparents....start to eat solid foods....etc....

Yarra Valley / Morington Penisula

Finally.....I got time and energy to update the blog.....

We did some travelling on the last weekend of Oct09....had pancakes at Pancake Parlour then went to Yarra Valley for some winery tours and a short visit to YZ's Pop and Nana in Boronia on Sat. Then we headed to the Morington Penisula from Sun to Tue for some sceneries at Sorrento and spent the night at Bayplay's Cottage in Blairgowrie. Next day we headed to Arthur Seat for more sceneries and photos before heading to SunnyRidge Strawberry farm for some strawberry picking =) Before we end the day, we went to Ashcombe Maze and Gardens for some fun with the gnomes and fairies. Next, we went to pay a visit to Aunt Mel in Yarringa. Finally, we rested our feet at Quest Frankston (quite a gd place to stay....) Last day of the trip, we went to Keysborough for Dim Sum lunch with Aunt Melb, Uncle John, Aunt Serene and Uncle Alan before heading back to East Melb with all energy drained dry...heehee...

Been feeling kinda guilty for not letting YZ eat solid food earlier....she is alwaz drooling whenever she sees us eat (doc says she can start to eat liao at the start of 5th mth)....but due to the shift to Melb, i've been putting that off....(coz worried she not might get used to the new enviro) Lucky (touch wood), she has been adapting well....only thing is she is still living in Singapore timing (3 hrs beind Melb)so poor me gotta live 2 countries' timing in one....sigh.... Anyway, today she had her first real t-break. We (me and YZ) went down to the supermart downstairs and bought her some white bread rolls....and here is how she enjoying.....

Shift to Melbourne

We shifted to Melbourne, Australia on 17 Oct 09 via SQ 237. And Yuezuan had her first air plane ride. Had mixed of feelings for this shift as it was the first time I travelled with her and without the help of my mum or Siti. Though hubby and in-laws are around to help, still cant help but feel handicap without my usual aides (got pampered by them liao =P).

Anyway, hope this trip will be a pleasant one....looking forward to January 2010...

As Papa's, Weiyi's and Yanshang's birthdays all fall on September, we decided to celebrate all together.....esp so this year as Weiyi will be entering Army on 14 September (meaning he will celebrate his b'day in camp....heehee ^-^)

We ordered 3 cakes from Awfully Chocolate--Rum and Cherries Chocolate Cakes (their fav).....

and held the celebration at Parkway Thai Restaurant (23A Coleman St) together with Papa's siblings and family, and the companies' employees.

We celebrated our National Day on Sun, 09/08.....Uncles n Aunties all came over to Tampines .....n we got lotsa food.....Nogh Hiong, Pork Chop, Roast duck n pork (compliments from Er shu), Po Piah, Fishball, Red eggs, n Crab from Papa's new biz....

Due to the good mood, our little YZ got a nice little fashion parade....heehee...
